SOVIET FILM POSTERS
Soviet Film Posters is a publication about the design that emerged in early Soviet Russia, especially photomontage and the design of avant-garde film posters. The design takes inspiration from the constructivist movement, which was the foundation of the style of the film posters. Elements such as scaled-up type, large amounts of negative space, blocky typography, and geometric designs all allude to this era of design. The divider pages between each section were inspired by the photomontage processes of Soviet film posters.
