SOUND OFF ON SPOTIFY CAMPAIGN
This social impact campaign focuses on elevating the message of disenfranchised musicians impacted by low streaming payout from Spotify. The visual style of this project was inspired by the DIY aesthetic of the punk subculture. Included in the campaign are pamphlets and posters that take the form of an authentic punk zine, assembled by folding a paper into eighths, as well as additional ephemera, including stickers, social media posts, and pins. The pamphlets and posters were distributed across campus. All imagery and typography in this project have some analog basis: all typography is handwritten, as are the illustrated elements, with paint pens, and the images were printed, cut out by hand, and digitized.
